Abstract

Background: The paper states and formalizes the problem of optimal control of technological processes of integrated oil treatment unit (IOTU), substantiating the optimality criterion and constraints imposed on the control actions. Expediency of using a mathematical model to optimize processes of oil dehydration, desalting and stabilization is shown. The logistics for solving the problem of optimization of oil treatment processes is developed. The proposed algorithm makes it possible to optimize technological modes of the unit. Materials and Method: The specific feature of the algorithm is also a significant reduction of the search time of optimal solutions. The impact on the local control systems is carried out in the order of oil emulsion movement in dehydration, desalting and stabilization apparatuses, taking into account the time of OE stay in the apparatuses. Results: Here, the control parameters are the levels of OE and water phase interface in technological, horizontal and ball settlers, the chemical agent dose, temperature of oil dehydration, desalting and stabilization processes and the flow rate of fresh flushing water. Conclusion: To control the correctness of results of solving the optimization problem and practical results of impact on technological processes, OE quality analyzers have been used. Furthermore, the system includes information display devices for control and maintenance of technological processes.
