New Perspectives for Teaching English: Utilizing Mobile Applications in Improving Iraqi EFL University Students’ Listening Skills

Abstract

The study aims to identify New Perspectives for Teaching English in the Republic of Iraq Potential of Mobile Applications in Improving the Listening Skills among Iraqi University Students. Clear out the differences in Listening Skills between the control group taught in the ordinary method and the experimental group taught using Mobile Applications. The study follows the descriptive and the experimental approach to identify the effect of using Mobile Applications in Listening Skills among Iraqi University Students. The study sample consisted of (44) in Iraqi University Students. The study found that there are significant positive differences in Listening Skills of students in the experimental group as a result of their teaching using Mobile Applications. In the light of the results, the study recommends teaching using Mobile Applications because of its effect on Listening Skills among Iraqi University Students.
