Abstract

Background: With the ongoing outbreak of COVID-19 around the world, it has become a worldwide health concern. Aim of study: check a cluster or presence of asymptomatic carrier with an asymptomatic transmission of COVID-19. Material &methods: In our study check for SARS-CoV-2 test by PCR for 3000 persons (we divided them in 3 groups group 1 travelers through middle east airlines (1850), group 2 health care worker  who expose to positive cases  or on the same accommodation building (500)--, group 3 individual requested to check up to rolled out  SARS-CoV-2 either companies or individual families and families of positive cases (650)  laboratory test  a complete blood count &CRP, Nasopharyngeal swab specimens had been collected, All samples were processed at clinical laboratory of hospital and sent to MOH regional laboratory simultaneously laboratory confirmation by RT-PCR assay. Resluts: Among these 3000 personness, 582 were positive for COV-19, among group 1, 295 were positive 15.94%, group 2, 148 were positive 29.8%, group 3, 139 were positive 21.28% ,35  presented symptoms after admission and were defined as asymptomatic patients ; during  Conclusions Infectivity of some asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 carriers might be weak. Effective prevention and control measures are helpful to prevent COVID-19 spread of asymptomatic carriers. The result of this study may alleviate parts of the public concern about asymptomatic infected people further longitudinal surveillance of these asymptomatic cases via virus nucleic acid testing are warranted.
