Abstract

The treatment of soils with hydraulic binders (lime, cement...) is a process which is increasingly practiced by construction companies in road engineering. It improves the geotechnical and mechanical proprieties of soil called « mediocre » soils in situ.- The aim of this work presented behavior of soils treated with lime and hydraulic binders in the short term.- This work includes a bibliographic study on the mechanical behavior of soils treated with lime and cement, the microstructure of soil treated with lime and cement and the effect of soil treatment with lime and cement on geotechnical parameters. Then a little insight into the experimental design method was mentioned by the different experimental results carried out by several researchers, similar to our study subject have been grouped together. Finally, a statistical modeling using JMP software, to evaluate the geotechnical parameters of a soil treated with lime and cement with different dosages and to have a good correlation and a forecast of the experimental results.
