Abstract
This study will present an attempt to identify the implicit parameters of the architectural aesthetic of the great contemporary mosques in Algeria, including the Saoudi mosque in Chlef. Among the classic parameters of architectural aesthetics, the most cited in literature; the doric and dynamic ratio and the privileged angles, which are considered to be important factors acting on visual and mental perception and therefore on individual and collective judgments of architectural beauty.

The analysis of the exterior composition of the overall shape of the Saoudi Mosque in Chlef is part of a specific theoretical framework linked to the philosophy of art and the subjectivity of the perception of beauty, and also in an approach which will make it possible to determine the objective arguments justifying the positive perception of the aesthetics of the users. To this end, a methodological approach was defined, it consisted in determining the implicit indicators of aesthetics in two distinct levels, firstly on the architecture of the overall external envelope and then on the secondary elements such as the access porches, the minarets and domes.

The results of identifying the implicit parameters of the aesthetics of the great contemporary mosque in Chlef reveal the use of doric and dynamic proportions and privileged angles, which could serve as an objective argument for attributing the main value of architectural aesthetics to the object of study.
