Academic Attitudes of AL - Ain University Students In The Light Of Multiple Intelligences Theory

Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the academic Attitudes for students in the light of multiple intelligences AL - Ain University, researcher depended on the questionnaire divided to nine types of intelligences: Language, verbal intelligence, Logical, Spatial, Personal, Social, Motor, Musical, Natural and Existential intelligence, that was distributed to (567) students at AL - Ain University on Modern Teaching Methods/ Abu Dhabi. The result showed that there were medium degree for all areas of academic Attitudes in the light of multiple intelligences for student of AL - Ain University on Modern Teaching Methods Notably (the Personal Intelligence) followed by (Visual-Spatial Intelligence) in high degree of both, The less mean (Social Intelligence) in medium degree, and there were statistically significant differences in academic Attitudes in the light of multiple intelligences for student of AL - Ain University on Modern Teaching Methods due to (Cumulative average) Favor (very good), Recommendations included: The need to employ multiple intelligences in guiding students toward choose academic paths which compatible with their attitudes in the light of intelligence types.
