Application of Electronic Management by High School Principals in Northern Al-Mazar and the Application Obstacles from the Standpoint of Teachers

Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the degree to which electronic management is applied by high school principals in the Northern Al-Mazar, and exploring the application obstacles from the standpoint of teachers. The study sample consisted of (97) male and female teachers. The results of the study indicated that the overall degree of electronic management application was (2.89), which corresponds to an average degree of practice. While the overall score of the electronic management application obstacles was (3.85), which corresponds to a high degree of obstacles. There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) among the average responses of the study sample on the degree of electronic management application in relation to the gender variable (male / female). However, there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) on the obstacles hindering electronic management application in relation to the gender variable (male / female) in favor of males. Moreover, there were no statistically significant differences between the average responses of the study sample on the degree and obstacles of electronic management application in relation to the specialization variable (Scientific / Humanties). Still, there were statistically significant differences in the degree of application in favor years of experience variable (more than 10 years), while there were no statistically significant differences for application obstacles. The study concluded with a number of recommendations, including: enhancing the concept of electronic management among employees by achieving their personal goals through their work, and increasing the chances of achieving what the employees’ desire by creating equal opportunities among them.
