The effectiveness of employing recent trends in designing application interfaces for smart phones

Abstract

The technological age in which we live is characterized by the abundance of information flow, and technical developments, most notably mobile phones. Smart phone is a term given to a class of modern cell phones that use an advanced operating system. The research problem is summarized in identifying recent trends in the design of applications and user interfaces in smartphones and the effectiveness of this employment in terms of interaction with these applications by the user or their ease of use, which comes from the design effort made by the graphic designer. The descriptive approach was used to achieve the research objectives, which is to identify recent trends in the design of applications and user interfaces in smart phones. Examine the effectiveness of employing recent trends in designing applications and user interfaces in smart phones. The research community is one of the smart phone application interfaces for Jordanian government institutions, of which there are 12 applications, and they are present. In the Google Play Store, three samples were chosen as a sample for the search.
